Chelsea Mann is a freelance illustrator and illustration student from Topeka, KS. In 2011 she founded her freelance illustration business, Philosoficate, and runs various comic projects out of it such as Son of the Philosopher, The String Bog, and Like Wet Firewood, among many others. Much of her work focuses around animals, monsters and anthropomorphic creatures, with a dabbling of superheroes and human artwork on the side. Since late 2010 she has been employed by the University of Kansas as a Student Exhibits Assistant, where she works on designing and illustrating exhibits and advertising for the KU Natural History Museum.
