BUCK ROGERS IN THE 25TH CENTURY STARS GIL GERARD AND ERIN GRAY REUNITE AT BIG APPLE COMIC-CON!In 1979 Gil Gerard and Erin Gray were cast as Buck Rogers and Wilma Deering, respectively in the TV series; BUCK ROGERS IN THE 25TH CENTURY. Based on the original BUCK ROGERS comic strip and subsequent film serials, the TV series was developed by Glen A. Larson and ran for two seasons on NBC. The series was particularly popular with young adults and Gerard and Gray became icons for their deft portrayal of two of the original sci-fi icons.

After BUCK ROGERS, Gil Gerard went on to appear in several TV series, including SIDEKICKS, NIGHTINGALES, FISH POLICE, DAYS OF OUR LIVES and PACIFIC BLUE. More recently Gerard has appeared in BEYOND, NUCLEAR HURRICANE, PSYCO HILLBILLY MASSACRE!, BONE EATER and the popular fan made web series, STAR TREK: NEW VOYAGES.

Gerard has also been featured in ACTION HERO MAKEOVER, a reality show on the Discovery Channel. Gerard is also set to appear in GHOST TOWN and DIRE WOLF.

Prior to appearing on BUCK ROGERS, Erin Gray was a one of the top models in New York City, with campaigns for L'Oréal, Max Factor and Bloomingdale's. However, it was Gray’s performance as Col. Wilma Deering in BUCK ROGERS that cemented her status as a cultural touchstone. Her physical beauty ensured her popularity with the young male audience while her strong and capable character also served as an inspiration to young girls.

Gray went on star in the TV sitcom SILVER SPOONS for five seasons, in addition to appearances on several other series; including STARMAN, SUPERBOY, JAKE AND THE FATMAN, L.A. LAW, BAYWATCH, PROFILER, RENEGADE and SILK STALKINGS. Gray has recently lent her vocal performance to HUNTER PREY and GHOSTBUSTERS: THE VIDEO GAME. Her next film will be TIMBERWOLF.
