Rev up your engines, Wizard World Anaheim Comic Con fans, because five of the most famous vehicles in movie and television history will be on display at the event, set for April 29-May 1 at the Anaheim Convention Center. Attendees can see and take photos with the DeLorean Time Machine from BACK TO THE FUTURE, Herbie from HERBIE THE LOVE BUG, K.I.T.T. from “Knight Rider,” and the “Starsky and Hutch” Torino

“The Caped Crusader” Batman (Adam West), often with “The Boy Wonder” Robin used the two-seat Batmobile to zip around Gotham City in pursuit of criminals like Catwoman, The Joker and the Penguin. The television series ran from 1966-68.

The DeLorean was driven by Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) and Dr. Emmett Brown (Christopher Lloyd), enabling the two to move through time, first to 1955, then “back to the future” in the 1985 adventure-comedy.

Herbie is an anthropomorphic Volkswagen Beetle, a character that is featured in several Disney motion pictures starting with the 1968 feature film The Love Bug. He has a mind of his own and is capable of driving himself, and is a serious contender in auto racing competitions.

K.I.T.T. is known as the Knight Industries Two Thousand, which appeared in the original TV series Knight Rider. KITT is an artificially intelligent electronic computer module installed in a highly advanced, very mobile, robotic automobile: the original KITT is a 1982 Pontiac Trans Am.

The “Starsky and Hutch” two-door Ford Gran Torino was the vehicle of choice on the 1970s television series. The car, red with a large white vector stripe, was nicknamed the “Striped Tomato” by Hutch in the episode “Snowstorm”; the nickname was subsequently adopted by the fans of the series.
