Barbara Nedeljakova is best known for her pivotal role as Natalya in the 2005 horror film Hostel. Written and directed by Eli Roth, the film achieved critical acclaim and notoriety through the disturbing nature and content of the film. At that time, nobody imagined that Hostel would become a number one movie in the USA - opening on 19.5 million USD. Hostel was listed as the best American movie in 2006 by Jean-Francois Rauger, a film critic for Le Monde, and it also won the Empire Award for Best Horror Movie in 2006.
Alongside Hostel, Barbara has had small parts in such films as Doom, with The Rock, and Shanghai Knights with Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson.
Born and raised in Slovakia, she studied acting in Prague, where she lives and works regularly in the famed Czech marionette theater. A master puppeteer, Barbara has performed in numerous marionette productions, including "Don Giovanni," "Don Quixote of La Mancha," and The Marriage of Figaro," often performing 3-4 roles per show.
Barbara is just launching her career in London and LA - this is a bright star in the making.
