Welcome to the first installment of Wizard World’s "Alley Talk". We will regularly feature interviews with your favorite creators who will be appearing in Artist Alley at our upcoming shows and you can get the 411 on what to expect at the con and what projects they have coming down the pipeline.
1) What are you currently working on? I just finished a few covers for Platinum Studios comic "Ghosting" which is a horror book kinda like the Scream movies. Other than that I am taking a much needed winter break from the convention scene and finishing some Lucasfilm projects.
2) What do you like best about attending the Wizard World shows? The atmosphere is great. You cannot go to the show and not have a fun time. Being an artist I am a huge comic and movie fan and it's great meeting not only the fans but other creators and actors.
3) What are your plans for 2008? This year I doubled my show schedule and did 23 so in 2008 I plan on cutting back on the cons a little ( not including the Wizard shows of course). I have a line of Pin-up girl paintings to do as well as the usual comic fare. I wish I could say I had a
secret project, sorry!
4) What is the project you are most proud of in your career? Aside from the military art I have done I would have to say my Star Wars art I did for a Lucasfilm Licensee that got turned into giany 3-D posters for Star Wars Celebration 4.
5) What is your dream project? My dream project would either be a fully painted Punisher, Batman or Wolverine graphic novel.
6) What characters would you most want to party with? Date? Fight? The character I would most like to party with would be Logan (Wolverine) because he can drink like a fish and be great in a bar brawl. I would most like to date....Black Cat. For obvious reasons. She can kick my butt anyday;) As far as fighting a character I would have to say Aunt May. Just kidding cause I know that lady fights dirty. I will have to go with Cyclops as long as he cant use his visor im pretty sure I could mop the floor with his annoying a$$. Ta-Da!
