Wizard showcases some of the talent you will find appearing in Artist Alley at our upcoming shows and gives you the 411 on what to expect at the con and what projects they have coming down the pipeline.
1) What are you currently working on?
I'm currently working on finding time to sleep. I'm writing the fifth issue of my comic book, Project ElOhIm, which is drawn by the amazing Eliseu Gouveia. I'm also writing and drawing the continuing adventures of my Little Vampires.
2) What do you like best about attending the Wizard World shows?
This is my third Wizard World, and there's lots about them that I like. I love sketching and chatting with people, and meeting my favorite creators. But what I like best is checking out Lou Ferrigno's arms. I think he might work out.
3) What are your plans for 2008?
I plan to sleep at least a little in 2008. But aside from that, I plan to keep pimpin' Project ElOhIm and Little Vampires until I rule my own media empire. If that leaves me any free time, I hope to start my webcomic, Gods and Geeks.
4) What is the project you are most proud of in your career?
The project I'm most proud of is Little Vampires. I told my insecurities about being a writer and artist to sit down, shut-up, and hold on, and I just made the book happen. I haven't heard from my insecurities since.
5) What is your dream project?
My dream project is the one that will allow me to quite my day job. Wish I knew what that project was, but I don't . . . yet.
6) What characters would you most want to party with? Date? Fight?
I'd love to fight Nightcrawler in a Guitar Hero duel to the pain. Poor fuzzy elf would have serious issues playing that guitar controller with those fingers of his. Victory would be mine!
