Wizard showcases some of the talent you will find appearing in Artist Alley at our upcoming shows and gives you the 411 on what to expect at the con and what projects they have coming down the pipeline.
1) What are you currently working on? Currently I am finishing the first story for the new Chestaclese comic (published by Wildcard Ink?). And I am doing various freelance drawings to pay the piper aka the landlord. Also I am looking for long term employment as a storyboard and design artist. Know of anything?
2) What do you like best about attending the Wizard World shows? This will be my first Wizard con and I am looking forward immensely.
3) What are your plans for 2008? If I were a tree I would like to be a... ooops wrong question. For 2008 I hope to be working full time as a storyboard artist but the real dream is for Chestaclese to sell enough to live on and maybe sell as a TV cartoon.
4) What is the project you are most proud of in your career? Chestaclese and Ren & Stimpy are my choices for greatest hits. The Ripping friends is another though it didn't take off the way I hoped.
5) What is your dream project? In case you didn't notice, Chestaclese is my main dream, but I would hope that Spumco can get back into the fray. We are pitching ideas involving Ripping Friends, George Liquor, Jimmy the Idiot Boy, etc.for interweb projects and would not refuse a chance to go TV of theatre feature. I will also do yardwork if you have a ride mower.
6) What characters would you most want to party with? Date? Fight? I was thinking that if you could build your fantasy football or basketball team and could use superheroes who would you use. Superman is immediately disqualified for obvious reasons. Hulk at center, The Thing at power forward, Spider man at forward, the Flash at guard, and Kobe Bryant at point guard. Superman would be the ref. For a date it would have to be Wonder Woman but she would have to look like Jessica Biel.
