 If you were around for the 90s you know Tia Carrere from her role in the now classic SNL spinoff film Wayne’s World, as well as the sequel Wayne’s World 2, performing various songs as the love interest Cassandra.
Carrere also played major roles in movies like James Cameron’s True Lies, and in Michael Crichton’s Rising Sun alongside Sean Connery, and Wesley Snipes. She also played the voice of Nani, in the Disney movie Lilo and Stitch and its various spinoffs.
Carrere also plays a recurring role on Larry David’s hit HBO show Curb Your Enthusaism as well as roles in shows like Nip/Tuck, and Back to You.
As well as a successful actress, Carrere is also a prominent musician with a song featured in the classic Batman animated film Mask of the Phantasm. She later recorded a Grammy winning album titled Ikena which shows her strong Hawaiian heritage.
