Marvel Entertainment, Inc., one of the world's most prominent character-based entertainment companies with a library of over 5,000 proprietary characters, will be reviewing portfolios of artists, inkers and colorists for potential future work at the House of Ideas.
All creators interested in having their portfolio reviewed can drop off copies of their artwork (no originals) to the Wizard Booth, #200. Portfolios will be accepted during Wizard World Philadelphia admission hours on Friday and Saturday. The deadline for portfolio submission is 7:00 pm on Saturday, June 20 at the Wizard Booth.
Pencilers should be prepared to drop off at least 5 pages of sequential art as well as examples of cover illustrations.
Inkers’ portfolio samples should contain examples of their work over at least three different pencilers.
Colorists should provide samples that effectively display their different techniques and coloring abilities on various types of pieces.

Marvel will display a list of creators at the Wizard Booth on Saturday morning, June 20 and again on Sunday morning June 21 that includes meeting times for those artists they are interested in, to come back and speak with Marvel staff. This new submission process will allow the staff at Marvel to properly review the art they receive and relieve artists of the burden of standing in a long line, missing all the fun of the convention.
